What we deliver

Fleet depot electrification

Depots designed, connected and energised — with up to £1m per site in grant funding.

Electrifying a fleet is an energy problem before it is a vehicle problem: the depot needs to deliver the right power, at the right time, at a cost per mile that beats diesel. We design from your duty cycles — routes, dwell times, vehicle mix — and size charging, solar and storage as one system.

Grant funding of up to £1m per site is available to eligible fleet operators right now. We build the application around the engineering design, so the funding case and the technical case are the same document.

Questions we're asked about fleet depot electrification

Our grid connection is too small — is that the end of it?

Rarely. Load management, on-site solar and storage can multiply what a constrained connection supports. We model the depot as one system before assuming a costly upgrade.

What funding is available?

Eligible fleet operators can access grant funding of up to £1m per site right now. We prepare the application alongside the engineering design.

Can we electrify in stages?

Yes — most depots should. We design the end state, then phase installation to match vehicle replacement cycles, so capital follows the fleet.

Which vehicles does this cover?

Vans, HGVs and mixed fleets. The duty-cycle model tells us what each vehicle class needs; the depot design serves the mix, not the average.
